Net Energy Metering (NEM) 3.0

Net Energy Metering (NEM) 3.0 in Malaysia allows solar panel owners to sell excess electricity back to the grid. The program helps lower electricity bills and reduce greenhouse gas emissions. 

How it works？
1-Solar panels generate electricity during the day. 
2-Home appliances use the electricity. 
3-Any excess electricity is exported to the grid. 
4-At night, when the solar panels aren't working, electricity is imported from the grid. 
5-The imported electricity is recorded and charged to the homeowner on a monthly basis. 
6-The homeowner receives credit for the excess electricity they exported to the grid. 
7-The credit can be used to offset future electricity bills.
