Who inherits your estate if you die without a will in Malaysia?

If you die intestate (without a valid will), your estate will be distributed to your surviving family members as outlined in Section 6 of the Distribution Act 1958.

Your estate will be frozen once you died until the legal proceeding of administration of estate is completed.
