Malaysia’s men’s doubles pair, Goh Sze Fei-Nur Izzuddin, fell to Denmark’s Kim Astrup-Anders Rasmussen in the World Tour Finals final, losing 21-17, 17-21, 21-11 in 65 minutes.
Despite a spirited second-game win, the Danes dominated the decider. The Malaysians, proud of their breakthrough season, earned US$100,000 as runners-up, bringing their total 2024 earnings to US$253,587.50.
In mixed doubles, Chen Tang Jie-Toh Ee Wei lost a close 21-18, 14-21, 21-17 battle to Olympic champions Zheng Si Wei-Huang Ya Qiong.
