Ford Ranger Raptor Rev 2025 – Malaysia’s First Off-Road Event at SIC
Last weekend, around 80 Ford Ranger Raptor owners got to test their trucks at the first-ever Ford Raptor Rev off-road event at Sepang Circuit.Organized by Sime Darby Auto ConneXion-Ford, the two-day event on February 22-23 offered an exciting off-road adventure for Raptor owners and fans.
Held at Bay 13, a specially built off-road park, the event featured jumps, water crossings, steep slopes, and rugged trails.Participants tackled various challenges, including off-road jumps, drifting, and 4x4 obstacle courses, under expert guidance. They also experienced the Raptor’s high-speed Baja mode through thrilling laps driven by professionals.
Besides the off-road fun, there was a technical workshop led by Ford expert Chris Dean from Australia, who explained how the Raptor’s FOX suspension enhances performance in rough terrains. BFGoodrich, the event’s main partner, hosted tyre workshops and introduced the new KO3 tyres,built for durability and top off-road performance.
Attendees also enjoyed food trucks,live performances, giveaways, and a chance to meet celebrities like Ezzrin Loy, Intan Serah, Syaidatul Afifah, and Hee Wei Seng. Auto ConneXion MD Turse Zuhair said the event was a great way to bring the Ranger Raptor community together and showcase the truck’s incredible off-road abilities.
