Eye Bag Removal Treatment

Eye Bag Removal Treatment

Eye bags are not popular. They make us appear older and more worn-down than we actually are, and far too frequently, they don't improve with more rest and a healthier diet.

Fortunately, there are several methods for getting rid of eye bags.

WHAT CAUSES BAGS UNDER THE EYES

Knowing what causes the bags to form in the first place is helpful for understanding how under-eye bag treatments function. Eye bags can be brought on by a number of different circumstances, and frequently, more than one of these factors is at play at once. Here, we'll talk about three of the most prevalent issues.

Loss of fatty tissue in the upper cheekbones, directly beneath the eye bags, is the most typical cause of eye bags. The entire face is covered in this fatty tissue, which is located just below the skin. It "deflates" or degrades far more quickly in your cheeks as you age than it does right behind your eyes. Your eyes develop raised or bulging bulges of fat beneath them as a result of this unequal deflation; these are the eye bags.

A weakening of the orbital septum is another major factor in eye bags. Fat under the eye is "held" by the orbital septum, a membrane, where it is hidden from view by the skin. The orbital septum can deteriorate with age, and as it does, the fat behind it tends to protrude outward and press against the skin. The appearance of eye bags is caused by, or made worse by, this bulging of fat.

In addition to these factors, some people are just born with excess fat under their eyes due to genetic predisposition. Another typical reason for eye bags is this.

NON-SURGICAL TREATMENT FOR EYE BAGS

Dermal fillers are frequently used as a non-surgical method of removing eye bags. Hyaluronic acid, which is a naturally occurring substance in the body and is the main component of dermal fillers, can replenish lost volume in the soft tissue of the face or even add new volume.

Dermal fillers can restore the seamless transition from the under-eye to the cheeks in individuals whose cheek deflation is the cause of their eye bags, obviating the appearance of bags under the eyes. Depending on their face architecture, certain individuals with extra fat under their eyes may also benefit from this procedure.

By using dermal fillers to smooth the transition from the cheekbones to the lower eyelids, this patient's lower eyelid bags were eliminated.

Most patients can go back to work the same day or the next day looking their best after a non-surgical eye bag treatment. During the first 7 to 10 days after their treatment, some patients may have mild soreness, redness, and/or swelling, but this is less frequent.

REMOVING EYE BAGS WITH LASER

We target the fats in the eye bags using a fat-specific laser using a tiny needle point. It works well to lessen the size of the eyebags.

The ideal alternative is therefore Accusculpt laser eye bag removal since the laser beam will tighten the barrier and melt or kill the fat cells in the eye bag area, reducing the eye bag by at least 50% in just one session. You can see how quickly and easily it is done in the video up top. There was just one little insertion that allowed the laser fiberoptic to reach the fat pad. So there isn't much downtime.

REMOVING EYE BAGS WITH SURGERY

Our doctors often advise surgery to remove eye bags for individuals whose bags are brought on by bulging or extra fat under the eyes.

In an eye bag operation, the doctors cut out and/or reposition the fat beneath the eyes to get rid of the bags. The excision of extra skin under the eyes during this treatment helps some individuals as well.

This patient underwent upper and lower eyelid surgery to address drooping eyelids and remove eye bags.

The under-eye bags in this patient were eliminated with a lower blepharoplasty and lower eyelid fillers.

One week after eye bag surgery, the majority of patients resume most regular activities. Full recovery often takes four to six weeks, depending on the natural healing rate of your body and how strictly you follow the surgeon's post-operative recommendations.
